ALERT Radio Licensing Information

Recently the licensing structure of the ALERT Hydrologic Frequencies has changed. The ALERT community is begining the process of having to transfer their NTIA licences, formally held by the National Weather Service, into the Federal Communications Commision's database. The Flood Warning Systems Manual, which can be found at http://www.nws.noaa.gov/directives/sym/pd01009042curr.pdf and the current presentations by the NWS outline the four phase steps to perform this task via the Universal Licensing System. The purpose of this table of consultants is to aide the ALERT User Group Agencies in finding assistance in this task, if they wish not to do it themselves. The ALERT Users Group makes no recommendations and all contracts are to be between the Agency and the Consultant.
